This sterling-cored bead is crafted from Rainbow Chert from the East Tintic Mountains in Central Utah. It is a Chalcedony that was formed from folded sedimentary chert. They have bands of deep purple, burgundy and white.
Rainbow Chert is said to be a power stone of enlightenment that enhances one's life force.
The Size B bead measures approximately 17mm outside diameter with a solid sterling core that has an inside diameter of 4.37mm.
