New Mexico's Banded Onyx is now available in our newest sizes and shapes - The Marblettes!! The M16 is the smaller bead in the photo and is perfect for bracelets and necklaces!
This Aluna County Banded Onyx was discovered by the late Kevin Coleman in 2009. His "dig" was located in the Chihuahuan Desert of Southern New Mexico. His wife, Lori, continues to procure this beautiful stone and run the Spanish Stirrup Rock Shop in Deming, NM.
Onyx is a variety of Chalcedony, in the micro-crystalline family. It's said to build self-esteem and inner strength, promoting endurance.
