New Mexico Banded Onyx Cask
This Aluna County Banded Onyx was discovered by the late Kevin Coleman in 2009. His "dig" was located in the Chihuahuan Desert of Southern New Mexico. His wife, Lori, continues to procure this beautiful stone and run the Spanish Stirrup Rock Shop in Deming, NM.
Onyx is a variety of Chalcedony, in the micro-crystalline family. It's said to build self-esteem and inner strength, promoting endurance.

The Cask bead meaures approximately 22mm and has a solid sterling core with an inside diameter of 4.37mm.
