From the North American Bead Collection: The Beads of Ontario - Mountain Rose Granite. In April we decided to take a detour from our trip around New England and we headed into Canada. We released this bead for our northern neighbors who come south to visit, shop and vacation. And since they discontinued their copper penny this year, we adorned the size B bead with a copper bead cap. It does  have a sterling silver universal core.
