Montana agate was named one of two Montana state gemstones in 1969. It comes from the Yellowstone River Valley, between Terry and Glendive, Montana. The most beautiful Montana agate contains dendrites which are plumes of mineral inclusions.  Montana Agate is the stone of courage; promoting emotional strength, and self-confidence.
It is crafted by the artisans of Sunapee Graniteworks.
